We are on the lookout for a Commercial Service Team Leader to join our business L.N CLEANSING LIMITEDbased in Wellington.
Excellent pay rates starting from minimum $29 and max$32 depending on the experience. You will be working as per roster; hence flexibility is important in this role. Minimum 30 hours per week is guaranteed and maximum up to 40 hours per week.
Job duties include but is not limited to -
1. Policy, Procedures & Service Standards
• Develop, implement, and regularly review policies and procedures relating to customer relations and commercial cleaning services.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to company standards and client requirements.
• Monitor service delivery against agreed cleaning specifications and SLAs.
2. Customer Service & Client Relationship Management
• Ensure efficient operation of all cleaning functions supporting commercial cleaning contracts.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site.
• Handle issues, complaints, or urgent cleaning requirements promptly.
• Coordinate service requests, complaints, and variations with cleaning supervisors, site teams, and service agents.
3. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of commercial cleaners.
• Allocate daily tasks and manage staff rosters and attendance.
• Train new staff on cleaning procedures, equipment, and health & safety.
• Report performance concerns to management.
4. Quality Control & Compliance
• Perform regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure correct use and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report incidents and maintenance issues to management.
• Monitor daily operational activities to meet service schedules and client expectations.
5. Records, Reporting & Administration
• Maintain accurate records of service issues, corrective actions, and customer communications.
• Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
No Formal Qualification Required
✓ Minimum 2-year previous experience in commercial cleaning (supervisory experience highly desirable)

✓ Understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
✓ Ability to work independently and under pressure
