We are currently seeking reliable and hands-on forklift drivers who can also help pitch in when required with skin processing.  If you have a current forklift license and have had experience within the pelt industry, we would love to hear from you.

Overtime rates apply.  

Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a forklift, moving bins of skins and hides as required around the plant.

  • Operate and monitor hide and skin processing equipment, including fleshing, salting, and drying machines.

  • Maintain accurate production records and ensure traceability requirements are met.

  • Conduct routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance as required.

  • Ability to drive a forklift as/when required.

  • Work collaboratively with production and QA teams to meet daily targets.

  • Follow all Health & Safety and environmental protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a fellmongery, tannery, or similar environment.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle some lifting and manual tasks.

  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime.

  • Forklift license required.

  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
