Great opportunity for an experienced Fitter/Welder. 

 

We are looking for a Fitter/Welder responsible for fabricating, assembling, maintaing and repairing metail structures, machinery and equipment. The role requires a high standard of welding and fitting skills. 

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications

  • Perform fabrication, fitting, and welding of steel and other metals

  • Carry out welding using MIG, TIG, and ARC processes (as required)

  • Assemble mechanical components and structures to specification

  • Cut, shape, and prepare materials using hand and power tools

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances

  • Comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and company H&S procedures

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as required

  • Complete job documentation and timesheets accurately

Required: 

  • At least 2 years experience or relevant level 4 qualification

  • Commitment to safe work practices

  • Ability to follow company and site-specific safety procedures

  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling

  • Must be able to follow a drug test

On offer: 

  • Competitive pay, Weekly pay
  • $28-$35 per hour 
  • Monday to Friday, May be occasional weekend work
