We are a well-established glass and architectural installation company specialising in
balustrades, handrails, aluminium louvre systems and canopies, etc. Due to continued growth,
we are seeking experienced Metal Fabricators to join our team.
Employment type: full-time permanent

Location: Auckland
Hours per week: at least 30 hours per week
Hourly rate: 27-33/hour depending on your experience

 

Job description:

  • Fabricate and assemble stainless steel and aluminium components for balustrades, handrails, louvre systems and canopy structures
  • Cut, shape and prepare aluminium, stainless steel and timber materials according to drawings and specifications
  • Perform welding on stainless steel and aluminium
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and measurements accurately
  • Assemble fabricated components and assist with on-site installation when required
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety requirements
  • Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Assist with on-site installation, including manual handling and lifting of heavy glass and fabricated components when required

 

Job requirements:

  • A relevant qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 or at least one year relevant work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and a hard-working attitude.
  • Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working as part of a team.
