Work Location: Auckland Region

Employment type: Full time (minimum 30 hours per week, workdays from Monday to Saturday), Permanent role

Our pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour depending on skills and experience 

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland based construction company and become a part of a great team. We are now looking for 2 Truck Drivers to join our supportive team.

Here’s what we need from you:

·      Current and clean Class 4/Class 5 NZ driver license required;

·      Have at least 1 year’s relevant work experience, or have a relevant level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent certificates;

Tasks include:

·      Following instructions to deliver or pick up materials, goods, and equipment on a regular base

·      Operating vehicles into position for loading and unloading

·      Using lifting and tipping devices to load and unload vehicles

·      Complying with safety requirements when driving, parking, loading, and unloading vehicles

·      Conducting regular routine checks of vehicles to ensure the driven and on road safety

·      Making sure load weights not exceeding the maximum weights described for the vehicle

·      Ensuring the loaded materials, goods and equipment are safely stored and covered, and protected from damage or loss

·      Carefully verifying loading documents, check the loading condition and obtain supporting documentation for delivery
