Tiler

We are seeking a skilled We are seeking a skilled Tiler to join our team for ongoing projects to join our Auckland based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent workmanship, and a solid understanding of surface preparation and tile installation techniques. 

You will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying necessary adhesives or waterproofing materials.
• Measure, cut, and shape tiles using appropriate tools to fit specific spaces and design layouts.
• Accurately lay tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in accordance with project plans and customer requirements.
• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and grout application to achieve a high-quality, durable finish.
• Mix and apply adhesives, grouts, and sealants as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site and tools throughout and after the project.
• Load and unload tiling materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Strictly follow all Health & Safety regulations and on-site safety procedures.
• Carry out additional tasks related to tiling work as required by the site supervisor or project manager

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $28 to $33 per hour.

Other important requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or minimum relevant Level 4 qualifications.
• Available to work on weekends
• Collaborative team player
• Physically fit
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Self-motivated and a passionate individual.
