Pizza Hut – Quay Street is looking for an energetic and highly motivated Store Manager at our store on Quay Street, Auckland. We are a busy and fast-growing pizza store. 

The Store manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of our stores, including the rostering, training, and coaching of team members, delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, creating business strategies to attract new customers, preparing detailed sales reports and monitoring inventory levels on new stock.

Ideal candidates should have at least a two-yearrelevant work experience in the fast food industry or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and OR a relevant qualification at level of level 4 and above preferably in business or management

Cooks:

Core duties include but not limited to;

 
Provide an excellent level of customer service and drive a customer service culture across the store
Be responsible for running shifts and the store in an efficient way
Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies and setting prices and specials.
Identify and develop local restaurant marketing strategies to maximize sales.
Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
Train, hire and coach staff and drive performanceand ensure consistent customer satisfaction
Direct and motivate a team within a busy Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)
Be part of ordering, managing wastage and controlling labour costs.
Analyse business performance: initiates appropriate corrective actions, in conjunction with store owner, when deviations occur from financial expectations.
Contributes significantly to the achievement of positive financial results.
Assist with the overall running and management of a busy fast-food environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety standard.
Ensure all statutory, as well as establishment, hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to

Our stores operate late in the evenings and are 7-day trading stores. This role is a salaried 40 hour per week role and there is an expectation that you will need to work across the trading hours to ensure you are across all elements of the business and trading patterns. Please note that we do operate within a fixed shift labour model which means you will have set days and hours to work.

Working on weekends and will be available on-calls (if required) for this position.

Hourly wage rate: $30 - $35 per hour depending on experience and skills.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates should have at least a two-year relevant work experience in the fast-food industry orQuick Service Restaurant (QSR) and OR a relevant qualification at level of level 4 and above preferably in business or management.

Preference will be given to candidates who are already in New Zealand and has relevant work experience.

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice/Police check when required.
