Goodwin Group is a New Zealand-owned FMCG business which provides specialised services in head office key account management (Foodstuffs, Progressive, and Independent Retailer), sales, merchandising, distribution, and in-store tasting and much more.
Based primarily in Christchurch, we require a Territory Manager to manage and develop clients across the South Island of New Zealand. We are a dynamic company with a growing workforce, so flexibility and being able to assist where needed when we have tight deadlines is key.
You may be responsible for:
· Planning and organising promotions in supermarkets
· Keeping track of the market trends. Forecasting current and future consumer trends
· Maintaining the product portfolios. Advice on introducing new products and discontinuing undesirable products.
· Managing price adjustments in supermarkets
· Managing the sales of products
· Managing credits with the customers
· Organising display activity and shelf positioning
· Maintaining relationships with managers and buyers from supermarkets
· managing merchandising staff, including their recruitment and training, etc
Skills and experience for the role:
• Two years of relevant work experience or a tertiary Qualification
• An intimate understanding of FMCG and supermarket supply chain systems.
• A strong understanding of relevant laws that govern the transportation, exportation, storage and handling of food in New Zealand.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• The ability to get on with a wide variety of people.
• Computer proficiency.
• Free from drug and criminal history. Background checks may be required.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home
• Able to work at weekends

Minimum 30 hours a week.
Pay rate:$27.00-$33.00 per hour.
