Wisdom Consulting Limited is a dynamic and fast-growing company in the construction and renovation industry. Due to increasing customer demand and ongoing business growth, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith to join our busy team in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical and electronic locks and security systems.
• Rekey locks, change tumblers, and modify locking mechanisms as required.
• Cut and duplicate keys using key-cutting machines and hand tools.
• Open locks using professional techniques while minimizing damage.
• Dismantle, inspect, and reassemble locks to diagnose faults and replace defective parts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete locksmith work.
• Test and adjust electronic locking and time-locking devices to ensure correct operation.
• Inspect and adjust lock components to maintain security and performance standards.
• Estimate repair and installation costs and prepare quotations for customers.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Perform other related duties as reasonably required by the employer.

Skills & Experience Required    

• Minimum 2 years of relevant locksmith work experience; or
• Level 4 qualification in a related field, such as locksmithing or security systems.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical and electronic locking systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and customer-focused.
• Clean criminal record.
• No history of failed drug tests.
