Experienced Carpenter Wanted!

Good Men Brush Painting Ltd provides its clients with high-standard renovation services. Our busy team is looking for experienced carpenters and joiners. 

What you must have for this role:

  • Two years or more of relevant work experience 

  • Great team player

  • High attention to detail

  • Drug-free 

  • Good character

  • Being health and safety conscious

  • Being reliable with good work ethics

  • Being able to work Monday through Saturday if required

  • Self-motivated and can work independently with limited supervision

You will be responsible for:

  • Read and interpret project requirements and specifications

  • Select and decide suitable materials, tools, and equipment

  • Prepare, install, renovate, and repair structures and fixtures of wood

  • Cut, nail, and shape timber parts

  • Install and repair cabinet, deck, fence, and retaining wall

  • Erect framework and roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards, and verify the trueness of structures.

  • Fix and restore wooden structures by removing and replacing damaged or rotten wood.

  • Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, fit exterior wall cladding, door and window frames

  • Work with other materials such as plastic laminates, glass, Perspex, concrete and metals

  • Understand and apply quality control techniques

  • Keep workspace and tools clean.
