Key Responsibilities for Delivery Drivers

  • Safely deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes within the designated region.

  • Follow assigned delivery routes and time schedules.

  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles.

  • Complete required logs, reports, and job sheets accurately.

  • Use delivery apps and technology to manage deliveries and provide real-time updates to customers. 

  • Meet strict delivery deadlines while handling goods with care and respect.

  • Obtain proof of delivery, including customer signatures.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Role Requirements for Delivery Driver

  • A full and clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence or an equivalent valid international driving licence 

  • Previous experience in courier or delivery driving is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry goods safely.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
