Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Interpret plans to produce accurate working drawings.
  • Review and amend drawings based on feedback, site requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
  • Manage multiple drafting assignments and ensure documentation is completed within required project timeframes.
  • Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and technical documentation in line with quality assurance procedures.
  • Liaise with production and project scheduling teams to support timely project delivery and adherence to quality standards.

 

Job pre-requisites:

  • A qualification equivalent to NZQF Diploma in a relevant field.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience may substitute for the qualification.
  • Eyes for details and a hard-working attitude.
  • Must have legal right to work in New Zealand.
  • Must not have any criminal record.
