We are looking for Massage Therapists (2) for our busy shop, operating as Nakhon Thai Massage. Candidate should pass a background check and be physically fit. 

New Zealand citizen or resident will get extra credit.

The job is fulltime permanent and in Auckland. The minimum work will be 30 hours pw and maximum will be 45 hours pw. The minimum wage is $32.00ph and maximum wage will be 35ph. There will be one and half overtime payment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct client consultations to assess needs, medical history, and preferences.

  • Advise clients on appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans.

  • Perform a range of massage techniques such as:

    • Deep tissue massage

    • Sports massage

    • Relaxation massage/oil

    • Therapeutic/Remedial massage

    • Hot stone massage

    • Foot massage

  • Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation of treatment rooms and equipment.

  • Provide clients with aftercare advice.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures.

  • Support the overall smooth running of the shop

  • Promote additional services or products if appropriate.

  • Maintain professional conduct and excellent customer service at all times.

  • Excellent communication and client-care skills.

  • High standard of personal hygiene and presentation.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience as a massage therapist (minimum 2 years) preferred

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.

  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuing professional development.

  • New Zealand citizens or residents are preferred.
