We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead and manage daily operations of the supermarket located in Kaitaia.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong commercial awareness and people-management skills. We guarantee a minimum of 30 working hours per wek and offer a competetive rate of $24-$24 per hour. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day supermarket operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Manage, train, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets
  • Ensure high standards of customer service at all times
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, merchandising, and inventory control
  • Implement pricing, promotions, and sales strategies
  • Manage budgets, sales reports, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards
  • Handle customer complaints and operational issues professionally

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven managerial experience for two years or more (supermarket or grocery preferred)
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills
  • Sound understanding of retail operations and stock management
  • Ability to meet sales targets and manage budgets
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible to work weekends as required
