Experienced/ Qualified Painter Wanted

  • Pay range: $27 - $33/hr  

Mi Mi Company Limited is seeking experienced painters to join our house decoration and construction team to deliver high-quality services to both residential and commercial clients. An ideal candidate will have the right skills, a strong work ethic, excellent attention to details, the ability to work independently, and is also a good team player.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent mess. Tape off areas as needed. Moving furniture and equipment as required to access work areas.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and holes.
  • Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and protective finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Perform touch-ups and repainting as required during property repairs. 
  • Identify surface types and select appropriate primers and coatings.
  • Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards .
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members and clients to ensure work is completed efficiently. 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least two years of relevant experience is required. 
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools. 
  • Ability to read and interpret decoration and construction plans and specifications. 
  • Ability to work out material quantity requirements for ordering and placing orders. 
  • Interior decoration work experience is preferred. 
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. 
  • Good attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship. 
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
