As an experienced workshop mechanic your role will focus on the repair and maintenance of both heavy plant and trucks.

We have an opportunity for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team at our Mount Maunganui yard.

As an experienced workshop mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of both heavy plant and trucks. You’ll work alongside a skilled team of mechanics who collaborate to solve problems and maintain a safe, supportive working environment.

What you’ll bring to the role:
Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment 
Experience working  on plant e.g. diggers, graders, loaders, dozers, milling equipment 
Trade qualification
Class 2-5 licence is highly sought after
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
Committed to a safety-first culture 
Availability to work an on-call roster
Based in our Mount Maunganui yard, with travel around the wider Bay of Plenty region required
