About Us Looks Salon is a premier destination for grooming and style. We pride ourselves on delivering high-end cuts, classic barbering techniques, and modern styling in a fast-paced, friendly environment. With a strong and loyal client base, we are expanding our men’s grooming department and are looking for four passionate Barbers/Hairstylists to join our team.

The Role We are looking for precision-driven professionals who understand that a great haircut is the foundation of a man’s style. You will be providing scissor work, clipper cuts, beard sculpting, and hot towel shaves. This role is perfect for someone who wants job security, great tips, and a clear pathway to settle in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a full range of men’s haircutting services including fades, tapers, classic cuts, and long hair styling.

Execute traditional and modern beard grooming, including straight razor shaves and detailing.

Consult with clients to understand their style preferences and recommend suitable looks.

Maintain hygiene standards by sterilizing tools and sanitizing workstations.

Upsell retail products and home-care treatments.

Stay updated on current barbering trends and techniques.

What We Are Looking For Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role (barbershop or unisex salon).

Technical Skills: Mastery of clipper over comb, scissor work, and straight razor techniques.

Personal Attributes: Punctual, well-groomed, energetic, and a team player.

Communication: Excellent English communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
