Join our dynamic team in Auckland as a Property Manager. We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable individual for this full-time position, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.

As a Property Manager, your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of property and tenancy management duties. While not limited to the following, your responsibilities may include:

  • Managing residential rental properties on behalf of property owners

  • Advertising rental properties, conducting viewings, and assessing tenant applications

  • Preparing, renewing, and managing tenancy agreements in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act

  • Collecting rent, monitoring arrears, and maintaining accurate tenancy and financial records

  • Coordinating property inspections, maintenance, and repairs, and liaising with contractors and service providers

  • Responding to tenant enquiries and resolving tenancy-related issues in a professional and timely manner

  • Representing landlords at Tenancy Tribunal hearings where required

  • Providing regular updates and reports to property owners regarding tenancy and property matters

  • Ensuring all properties meet health, safety, and compliance requirements

  • Undertaking any other property management duties as required

To succeed in this role, the successful applicant should possess the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business management or at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in property management 

  • Sound knowledge of New Zealand tenancy legislation and property management practices

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple properties efficiently

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a professional team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Competency in computer systems, including property management software, email, and Microsoft Office applications

  • Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility

  • Ability to handle urgent matters promptly and professionally

  • Demonstrated honesty, trustworthiness, and a professional presentation

  • Adherence to workplace health and safety policies

  • Maintaining a drug and alcohol-free status
