We are looking for two experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.

We want to welcome friendly new team members who have a service mind and know how to work as a team.

Requirements 

•At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

Job Descriptions

  •  Identify muscle-related issues.

  • Ascertain and discuss appropriate treatment options for the client.

  • Capture/record client history and treatments provided.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace/station.

  • Maintain a professional and businesslike demeanour and appearance.

  • Massage the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to assist healing.

  • Utilise a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury.

  • Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension.

  • Assess and treat specific soft tissue dysfunction and provide rehabilitation advice.

  • Employ other techniques, such as acupressure or Shiatsu, and complementary aids, such as infrared lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, and herbal and mineral therapies, to assist recovery.

  • Assess the client’s physical condition and case history, and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.

• This is a full-time and permanent position

•Wages will be paid at a rate between $25.00 and $35.00 per hour, depending on skills and work experience. Payment will be made weekly.

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

• You will be working at 19A Otanerua Road, Hatfields Beach, Orewa, Auckland

• We are open from Monday to Sunday, 9.00 am – 7.00 pm

•You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week, with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
