Client Service Manager

Location: Bay of Plenty (occasional out of region assignments)

Hours: Minimum 32 hours per week, up to 45 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with weekend work depending on client requirements)
Pay Rate: $31.50 – $33.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Manager to oversee client relationships and service delivery within our professional cleaning business operating primarily in the Bay of Plenty region. This role is responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, managing service standards, and acting as the key liaison between clients and operational cleaning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with commercial and residential clients
  • Respond to customer enquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct site visits to ensure service quality and compliance with company standards
  • Explain cleaning processes, chemical usage, and safety procedures clearly to clients when required
  • Provide expert advice to customers regarding appropriate cleaning solutions and products
  • Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure services meet agreed specifications
  • Monitor service performance and implement improvements where necessary
  • Prepare reports, maintain client records, and manage service documentation
  • Support business development activities and assist in securing new contracts
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the cleaning industry
  • Strong understanding of professional cleaning processes and safe chemical usage
  • Ability to clearly explain cleaning chemicals, processes, and safety information to customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
  • A relevant business related diploma or degree is an advantage but not essential
  • Full driver’s licence preferred
