Juneja Pvt Limited, a well-established dairy and superette in Grey Lynn, Auckland. We are looking for a skilled Store Manager to lead our team, manage daily operations, and deliver an efficient, customer-focused shopping experience.
Key Duties:
• Manage the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels through routine stock checks and ensure products are reordered on time to prevent supply gaps.
• Liaise with current suppliers and explore new supplier partnerships to expand and enhance the product range.
• Assign responsibilities to team members and oversee performance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Lead the hiring process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding, to build a skilled and reliable team.
• Enforce store standards for presentation, cleanliness, and customer service, including staff grooming and behaviour.
• Plan and manage visual merchandising and in-store promotions to maximise product appeal and customer engagement.
• Oversee the receiving and dispatching of stock, ensuring all inventory transactions are accurately documented.
• Prepare and manage store budgets, tracking sales results, labour costs, and stock investment to meet financial goals.
• Ensure all areas of the store consistently meet cleanliness, safety, and quality expectations.
• Use strong commercial judgement to identify improvement opportunities and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Support staff development through ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Foster a positive and motivated workplace culture through recognition, encouragement, and performance incentives.
• Lead by example, actively contributing to the store’s success and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Work Hours and Pay:
• Minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Hourly rate: $30.00 – $37.00
Other Requirements:
• Minimum 2 Years of relevant work experience Or at least a Level 5 relevant qualifications.
• Availability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to tasks.
