AgSmart UAV is an Ashburton based drone company offering Aerial Spraying, Topdressing and Seeding services to the Agricultural sector, combined with Lidar and Photogrammetry services to the Survey Industry. 

Due to the company’s continued growth and expanding operations, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager in the same field to join our team and lead our sales and business development functions

Job Description:

Developing and implementing sales strategies to promote AgSmart UAV’s drone services across the agricultural and survey sectors

Managing client relationships and building long-term partnerships with farmers, agribusinesses, and survey companies

Identifying new market opportunities and expanding the company’s customer bas

Leading and coordinating sales operations, including quotations, contracts, and service agreement

Analysing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform business strategies

Representing the company in client meetings, industry events, and business development activities

Working closely with operations and technical teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations

Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management

Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and commercial obligations

Requirement:

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in sales is required

Applicant with a Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, drone services, surveying, technology, or related industries is highly preferred

Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills

Strong organisational and leadership capability

Professional, self-motivated, and results-driven work ethic
