We’re looking for a skilled Joiner to help craft high-quality kitchens, cabinetry, and custom joinery. Work with top materials, from solid timber to modern finishes, and see projects through from workshop to installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to fabricate joinery accurately.

  • Manufacture and assemble timber and panel-based products using a range of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.

  • Install joinery products on-site, ensuring they meet quality, alignment, and safety standards.

  • Work with a variety of materials including solid timber, melamine, veneer, MDF, plywood, and engineered stone components.

  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop or job site.

  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Carry out repairs or modifications to existing joinery as required.

  • Maintain tools and machinery in good working order.


Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a joiner or cabinetmaker, ideally with experience in custom residential or architectural joinery.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

  • Skilled in the use of woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery.

  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.

  • A full driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites if required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade Certificate in Joinery, Carpentry, or Cabinetmaking (or equivalent experience).

  • Site Safe card or similar health and safety training certification.

  • Forklift or other relevant equipment licenses (optional but beneficial).
