Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Promote and sell souvenir and gift products to wholesale and/or retail customers.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail outlets, tourist shops, and gift stores.

• Contact and visit existing and prospective clients to present product offerings and negotiate sales.

• Consult with customers to understand their product needs and recommend appropriate souvenir or gift solutions.

• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and order details; prepare and record orders accurately.

• Liaise with logistics and supply teams to coordinate deliveries, inventory management, and stock replenishment.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships; respond promptly to inquiries, complaints, or product issues.

• Monitor and report on competitor products, market trends, and sales performance.

• Maintain accurate records of business expenses, client interactions, and sales reports for management.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • At least 1 year relevant work experience

  • NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification or above

  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  •  Knowledge of retail merchandising, customer service, and sales techniques.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Experience in souvenir, gift, or retail sales preferred.
