Truck Driver

Bassi Waria Ltd is looking for two (2) full-time class 5 truck drivers. The applicant for the position of Truck Driver needs to hold NZ class 5 Driver License or equivalent if oversea license. We offer hourly wage rates from $29.00 to $39.00. The company is based in Auckland Region, but you will be driving outside of Auckland for delivery purposes. The positions are full time permanent with minimum of 30 hours per week.

Job Requirements

Have a good work ethic
Be a team player
Flexible with work timing
Have no criminal conviction and wiling to do a drug test if required
Be punctual, reliable, a can-do attitude and a wilingness to get the job done.
Ensure that vehicle has current COF and RUC is up to date.
Ensure accurate deliveries are made without damage and within the delivery timeframe. The applicant needs to be medicaly fit for the job
Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely 
Complete al paperwork and file them including log books and proof of delivery and handed to the company.
Follow all company health and safety procedures at al times.
Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight 
Experience in swing lift is desirable
Dangerous good endorsement preferred
Be available for weekends
Be available for night shifts
Be available with flexible hours
