We have an exciting short-term opportunity for a hands-on Fit-out Coordinator to support a busy fit—out team during the commissioning of new healthcare buildings.
This is a 3-month contract based on-site in Otahuhu, working full-time hours, with the potential for extension.

About the Role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring new facilities are fully set up, equipped, and ready for staff and patients. This is a practical, fast-paced role that combines coordination, logistics, and basic administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to deliveries at the loading dock and reconciling items against FF&E lists
- Moving stock into storerooms and recording details accurately
- Coordinating and moving Group 2 and Group 3 items to building areas for installation
- Reconciling items transferred from storerooms to ensure accurate tracking
- Setting up new Group 3 FF&E (installing shelving, safes, cupboards, removing packaging, etc.)
- Removing and managing packaging waste (cardboard, polystyrene, supplier packaging)
- Coordinating and supervising clinical cleans
- Booking and supervising carpenter installs (whiteboards, pinboards, brackets, dispensers, hooks, etc.)
- Assisting with IT and equipment installs (printers, PCs, coffee machines, water coolers)
- Collating asset numbers, serial numbers, extension numbers for service and finance records
- Making and installing temporary signage
- Labelling equipment (swipe card readers, remotes, keyboards, etc.)
- Supporting staff facility orientations
- Assisting with access programming and consumables ordering
- Providing general admin support to the FF&E team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be available to work on-site every day
- Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving items of varying sizes
- Have experience with inward goods processes and stock reconciliation
- Be Site Safe (or willing to obtain certification)
- Be confident using spreadsheets and basic admin systems
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Be proactive, practical, and happy to roll up your sleeves
