Wall and Floor Tiler

About Us：

We are a newly established and fast-growing construction company based in Auckland. Although newly formed, our management team brings years of industry experience across residential renovation, interior finishing, and property improvement projects. Due to increasing workload and new projects secured, we are now seeking an experienced and reliable Tiler to join our team. We value quality workmanship, efficiency, and a positive team attitude.

Tasks include:

• Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces, and laying out work to ensure accurate tile placement

• Studying drawings, specifications, and site measurements to determine tiling layout

• Preparing wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying waterproofing systems

• Measuring and marking surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement

• Cutting, shaping, and laying tiles using hand tools and power tools

• Mixing, applying and spreading adhesives and grout

• Aligning and spacing tiles correctly to achieve high-quality finishes

• Sealing joints and applying finishing materials

• Repairing and replacing damaged or cracked tiles

• Ensuring compliance with New Zealand building standards and health & safety regulations

• Maintaining tools and equipment in safe working conditions

• Working collaboratively with other trades on-site

Job pre-requisites: 

• Proven 2 years’ relevant working experience or more (experience gained in the same industry could be considered as meeting the experience requirements)

• Relevant qualifications are preferable but not a must

• Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.

• physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime 

• excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.

• The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

• Valid drive license

Other details:

Job Salary : $27.00 - $30.00

Working location: Auckland

Working hour per week: 30 – 35
