Full time permanent Steel Digger operator is required for our busy company Lima Homes Limited. The minimum work will be 35 hours pw and maximum will be 45 hours pw. The minimum wage is $30.00 ph and maximum wages will be $35.00ph. There will be $45ph overtime payment. Candidate should pass a background check and be physically fit. New Zealand citizen or resident will be preferable.

Job Responsibilities

·         Position, operate, control, monitor, and adjust excavation plant to safely and efficiently excavate, move, load, and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil, and other materials.

·         Perform hydro excavation and liquid waste removal, including carting bulk liquids where required.

·         Operate plant attachments to break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, and manipulate materials as needed.

·         Load and unload excavation plant with materials and attachments safely.

·         Perform pre-start checks, routine maintenance, servicing, lubricating, cleaning, refuelling, and minor adjustments or repairs on excavation plant.

·         Work accurately from drawings, markers, and verbal instructions to complete excavation tasks.

·         Operate high-pressure water equipment and other machinery, demonstrating physical capability and mechanical aptitude.

·         Perform manual excavation and shovelling where required.

·         Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         At least 3 years of relevant experience
