WELDER

We have a vacancy for a Full time Welder to assist us roofing and metal work. You will be required to work from Monday to Saturday (8am to 6pm) with minimum 30 hours to maximum 45 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

-        Weld and fabricate metal roofing components for repairs and new installations

-        Assist with structural roof work as needed

-        Read and follow basic drawings and measurements

-        Maintain tools, equipment and work area in a safe and organized manner

-        Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

-        Support roofers with general site tasks when required

-        Should have a basic understanding of metallurgy

-        Finish and polish welds are required.

-        Overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment

Key requirements

ü  To be successful you must have at least 2 years of experience in relevant role or Level 4 Diploma or higher relevant qualification

ü  Must be physical fit, reliable and punctual

ü  Able to work at heights

ü  Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

ü  Be able to work well in a team environment

ü  A positive attitude and a great work ethic

ü  Ensuring that safety and environmental rules

ü  Clean Character Background

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 per hour to $40 per hour.
