SARVAM2K20 Limited is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store in Taranaki. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, organisational, and customer service skills who can manage staff, stock, and financial performance while ensuring smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee day-to-day store operations

Plan and implement sales and merchandising strategies

Monitor store performance and achieve sales targets

Recruit, train, supervise, and roster staff

Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained

Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
-
Handle supplier relationships and coordinate deliveries
-
Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies
-
Manage budgets, cash handling, and financial reporting
-
Resolve customer complaints and operational issues efficiently

Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards
- determining product mix, stock levels and service standards;
- selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use;
- maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions;
Skills and Experience Required

2 years of relevant work experience OR
-
A relevant Level 4 or higher qualification

Strong leadership and staff supervision skills

Good communication and customer service abilities

Ability to manage stock, budgets, and reporting

Sound knowledge of retail operations and procedures

Ability to work weekends and public holidays if required
