The company requires Forklift Drivers to support the movement of raw materials, finished furniture, and inventory across its warehouse and production sites. These roles are essential to maintain safe material handling, efficient workflow, and timely dispatch of goods.

Position Title: Forklift Driver
Number of Positions: 5
Location: Auckland Region, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience, OR a Level 4 qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, furniture components, and finished products.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
  • Transport goods between warehouse, production, and distribution areas.
  • Stack, store, and organise pallets and inventory according to company procedures.
  • Assist with picking, packing, staging, and dispatch activities when required.
  • Conduct daily forklift safety checks and report faults.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transfers.
  • Follow all workplace health & safety rules, including PPE and hazard controls.
  • Assist warehouse/production teams during peak operational periods.
  • Handle furniture and materials carefully to avoid damage.
