Plumber

We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Plumbers to join our team. Starting pay offered from $29- $40 hourly will be fixed according to the skills and experience for 30-50 hours a week. However, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per above payrate. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
• Cut, assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures
• Install waste disposal, underground sanitary, drainage, and water supply piping systems
• Install and maintain water supply system
• Utilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system
• Dig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems
• Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes
• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders
• Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. Minimum two years’ relevant experience or a recognised qualification.
2. Experience with basic excavation related to plumbing installation is preferred.
3. Good knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and routine handling procedures.
4. Strong understanding of worksite health and safety requirements, including working around utilities and other trades.
5. Ability to read and follow basic plumbing and site plans, including pipe layout instructions.
6. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments when required.
7. Flexible availability, including early mornings or occasional weekends depending on project needs.
8. Pre-employment drug test and police check required.
