W Construction Limited is a dynamic and rapidly growing company operating in the construction industry. Due to increasing client demand and continued business expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Site Manager to join our busy team in Auckland.

Position Overview

The Construction Site Manager is responsible for leading and delivering construction projects from planning through to completion. This role involves managing resources, schedules, budgets, compliance, and quality control to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans and organize construction projects schedules.
  • Manage the progress of projects and conduct reviews of reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Work with engineering professionals, architects, and other essential professionals part of the project.
  • Review architectural drawings and technical specifications to decide on the best construction methods.
  • Works with clients, architects, engineers, and other professionals to plan and manage the construction process.
  • Arrange building inspections and related paperwork.
  • Design risk mitigation plans and submit/review project tenders
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing documentation for construction projects, all building documents and certificates collection and ccc application.
  • Coordinate labour resources, procurement, and the delivery of materials and equipment for construction projects
  • Ensure adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, site safety, and costs.
  • Manage internal construction teams, including site managers and project assistants.
  • Manage different subcontractors, to advance and complete construction projects.
  • Create and oversee project plans to align with strategic goals and desired outcomes.
  • Manage changes and the implementation of construction projects.
  • Negotiate with building owners, subcontractors, and property developers involved in the project to ensure all reach deadlines and stay within the budget of the projects
  • Other jobs required during the construction period

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably 12 months of relevant industry experience or more
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and customer focused.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • No history of failed drug tests.
