The roles are permanent, full-time employment with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week guaranteed.

The successful candidates must have at least 3 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment across residential or commercial projects. You will need a Class 4 licence, a Forklift licence, and Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers (WTR) Endorsements. The role may require you to travel out of town from time to time; the employer will pay for the travel costs.

You must have at least 2 contactable references, a clean criminal record

 
Tasks include:

  • Operate heavy construction equipment to excavate, move, load, and spread materials, using the appropriate attachments.
  • Prepare, position, and adjust machinery, following site drawings and instructions.
  • Transport, load, and unload construction materials as required.
  • Monitor operations and signal others to ensure safe and accurate equipment positioning.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, refuelling, and minor repairs, and identify equipment needing further servicing.
  • Maintain and update job‑related skills and knowledge.

 

Other equipment operator duties and responsibilities will be discussed with the successful candidates.
