A large, well-respected health organisation in Whangārei is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Stores Person to join their busy supply team. This is a hands-on role combining warehousing responsibilities with delivery runs around South Auckland.

About the Role

This position is approximately 40% driving and 60% stores/warehouse work, giving you a great mix of variety and responsibility.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring essential stock is received, stored, distributed, and delivered accurately across departments and external sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock receipting, rotation and replenishment
  • Counting, ordering and maintaining inventory levels
  • Managing stock returns, discrepancies and overstock
  • Conducting stocktakes as required
  • Replenishing stock across departments using trolleys
  • Ordering stock using Oracle (or similar systems)
  • Driving a small truck to complete deliveries around South Auckland
  • Assisting with general warehouse and logistics duties

 What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in stores or warehousing
  • Class 2 driver licence preferred
    • OR Full Class 1 with proven experience driving in a previous role
  • Experience driving a small truck (advantageous)
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to handle various stock types (including hazardous materials with training provided)
