The successful candidates must have at least 2 years of roofing experience, residential or commercial. The role may require you to travel out of town from time to time; the employer will pay for the travel costs.

You must have at least 2 contactable references, a clean criminal record, and a driver's license.

Job Description Summary:

  • Have strong roofing trade skills, experience, and knowledge.
  • A good level of understanding and ability to work off plans and specifications to determine materials required, measurements, and installation methods.
  • May measure, cut, and prepare roofing materials such as metal sheets, tiles, shingles, membranes, and flashings.
  • Installing, fixing, sealing, and shaping different types of roofing systems.
  • Loading and unloading roofing materials, tools, and equipment and distributing them across residential and commercial sites.
  • Assisting with general roofing tasks such as removing old roofing, preparing surfaces, and installing underlays and waterproofing materials.
