The successful candidates must have at least 2 years of gib fixing experience, residential or commercial. The role may require you to travel out of town from time to time; the employer will pay for the travel costs.
You must have at least 2 contactable references, a clean criminal record, and a driver's license.
Job Description Summary:
- Have strong gib fixing trade skills, experience, and knowledge.
- A good level of understanding and ability to work off plans and specifications to determine measurements, layout, and lining requirements.
- May cut, measure, and prepare plasterboard sheets and materials for installation.
- Fixing, gluing, screwing, and securing gib sheets to walls and ceilings.
- Loading and unloading plasterboard, tools, and materials and distributing them across residential or commercial job sites.
- Assisting with general interior finishing tasks, including preparing surfaces and supporting the stopping team where required.
