L Dot Limited is currently seeking three talented and passionate Hairdressers to join our dynamic salon team in Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills while delivering exceptional hair care services to our valued clients.

 

About the Role

As a Hairdresser, you will provide a full range of professional hair services, including cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments. You will play a key role in helping clients look and feel their best while contributing to a positive and professional salon environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and provide suitable recommendations
  • Perform hair cutting, styling, colouring, and treatment services
  • Shave, trim, and shape beards and moustaches
  • Provide face, scalp, and neck massages
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including sanitising tools and workstations
  • Stay up to date with current hairdressing trends and techniques
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work collaboratively with team members
  • Supervise apprentices and trainees where required

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Hairdresser or relevant Level 5 qualification
  • High standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume salon environment
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts for all hair types and lengths
  • Good time management and punctuality
  • Flexible availability, including weekends if required
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships
