We're looking for a driven Marketing Specialist to lead our growth in the Nepalese market. You'll manage digital campaigns, social media, client consultations, and partner development — helping Nepalese students find their pathway to New Zealand. Relevant qualifications or experience in marketing or international education required. Nepali language proficiency is essential. Full-time.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to lead our business development and marketing efforts in the Nepalese market. This is a key role within our international team, responsible for driving brand visibility, generating qualified leads, supporting client conversion, and developing strategic partnerships across Nepal.

You will work closely with our team, managing digital marketing campaigns, social media channels, and client consultation for prospective students and families considering New Zealand as their study or migration destination.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns

       Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns for prospective clients in Nepal across digital and offline channels

       Develop creative content and promotional materials tailored to the Nepalese audience, including video scripts, social posts, and student testimonials

       Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance and effectiveness

Social Media Management

       Manage and grow Choose New Zealand's social media presence in the Nepal market (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms)

       Create engaging content, respond to enquiries, and build an active online community

       Track social media trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes

Lead Consultation & Conversion

       Respond promptly to leads and enquiries from prospective students and sub-agents

       Provide accurate guidance on New Zealand education pathways

       Build relationships with prospective clients and convert leads through structured consultation processes

 

Ongoing Client Support

       Maintain communication with clients post-enrolment to ensure a positive experience

       Address client concerns, provide updates, and act as a trusted point of contact

Business Partner Development

       Identify and establish relationships with sub-agents, schools, and education partners in Nepal

       Maintain and strengthen existing partner relationships

       Represent Choose New Zealand at education fairs, events, and networking opportunities in the region

Reporting & Collaboration

       Prepare regular reports on market activity, leads, conversions, and campaign results for senior management

       Collaborate closely with the Auckland-based team and other international offices

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

       A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, International Education, Communications, or a related field; OR a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in lieu of formal qualifications

       Demonstrated experience managing social media channels and digital marketing campaigns

       Experience working with South Asian student markets, with a strong understanding of the Nepalese education and migration landscape highly desirable

Skills & Attributes

       Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Nepali language proficiency

       Proficient in digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and social media management

       Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently across time zones

       Strong relationship-building skills with students, families, and business partners

       Cross-cultural communication skills and cultural awareness of both New Zealand and Nepalese contexts
