Job Details:

Employment type: Permanent, full-time 

Hours: Minimum 30 hours/week (usually rostered 40 hrs/week) 

Roster: Rotating roster incl. weekends/public holidays (within Employment Relations Act requirements) Location: Timaru, Canterbury  

Pay rate: NZD28.00 to NZD34.00 

Kridha 2025 Limited requires a Store Manager to manage day-to-day operations of its fast food outlet in Timaru, ensuring  consistent service quality, food safety compliance, staffing coverage, training, stock control, and financial performance.  The role is needed to maintain operational continuity across extended trading hours and to ensure the store meets  customer demand, brand standards, and compliance obligations. 

The Fast Food Store Manager will be responsible for: 

1. Operations & service delivery: Oversee daily store operations, open/close procedures, customer service  standards, and operational problem-solving. 

2. Staff leadership: Recruit (where required), train, roster, supervise, coach and performance-manage staff; ensure  adequate staffing for peak periods. 

3. Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with food safety, health & safety, internal policies, and NZ employment  standards. 

4. Stock & supplier control: Manage ordering, receiving, inventory control, wastage minimisation, and supplier  communication. 

5. Quality control: Maintain product quality, preparation standards, hygiene standards, and store presentation.

6. Financial & reporting: Monitor daily sales, cash handling, banking, reconciliation, budgeting support, and  preparation of operational reports. 

7. Business improvement: Identify opportunities to improve speed of service, customer satisfaction, cost control,  and staff productivity. 

8. Customer handling: Resolve customer complaints professionally and implement corrective actions. 

Applicants must meet ONE of the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree (any field); OR 

• At least 2 years (24 months) relevant work experience in the hospitality / fast food / QSR operations environment  

Other requirements (recommended to include): 

• Strong people-management skills (rosters, training, performance). 

• Ability to work rostered shifts including weekends. 

• Basic computer skills (POS, ordering, reporting).
