We are seeking 4 reliable and hardworking Commercial Cleaners to join our team in Christchurch. If you take pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, we would love to hear from you. This is a full-time position requiring at least 3 years of cleaning experience. No formal qualifications are required.

As a Commercial Cleaner at Work Target Limited, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across commercial premises. The role involves routine and deep-cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for staff and visitors. You will be expected to work efficiently, follow cleaning schedules, and use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors
  • Dusting and wiping furniture, fixtures, and fittings
  • Cleaning kitchens, food preparation, and staff areas
  • Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and replenishing supplies
  • Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish and recyclable materials
  • Cleaning glass surfaces, doors, and windows
  • Spot cleaning walls and high-touch surfaces
  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment
  • Reporting maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors
  • Following workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ commercial cleaning experience required
  • No formal qualifications required
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
