Fj Trucking Limited is looking for a Accounts Admininstrator to join our team.

  • Title: Accounts Administrator
  • Guaranteed hours: 30 per week
  • Houly Rate: $30 - $35
  • Location: Auckland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording income and expenses related to tipper trucks, fuel, maintenance, and construction projects.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including entering supplier invoices and preparing customer invoices for cartage and construction work.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, supplier details, job files, and pricing information.
  • Work with drivers, site supervisors, and management to ensure loads, job hours, and materials delivered are recorded correctly.
  • Assist with setting up new clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in the system.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, fuel cards, credit cards, and supplier statements regularly.
  • Maintain cashbooks and ensure all financial records are up to date.
  • Process payroll for drivers and construction workers, including checking timesheets and overtime.
  • Enter data accurately and maintain organised financial and job-related documents.
  • Communicate with suppliers (fuel companies, workshops, quarries) and customers regarding invoices, payments, and credits.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Check load dockets, job sheets, and invoices for accuracy and report any issues to management.
  • Prepare and send invoices based on hourly rates, loads delivered, or project agreements.
  • Use accounting and job management software to manage records efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Key Requirements:

  • 2 years experience or level 4 qualifications.
