Power Wash Technician

We are seeking reliable, hardworking team members to support the delivery of industrial and commercial power-washing services to our clients. The position is full-time based, and candidates are normally required to work 30 to 60 hours per week. Pay rate between $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

The role focuses on the safe operation of high-pressure and soft wash cleaning systems to clean and maintain industrial machinery, building exteriors, and associated premises, in compliance with health and safety requirements. You will also be required to:

1. Carry out exterior cleaning, surface treatment, and general property maintenance across residential, commercial, and industrial settings using high-pressure and soft wash cleaning systems, in accordance with operational and safety procedures.
2. Clean and treat a wide range of surfaces, including building exteriors, roofs, walls, driveways, pathways, decks, fences, and associated premises, removing mould, algae, lichen, oil residue, graffiti, pests, and other environmental contaminants.
3. Safely operate power washing equipment, soft wash systems, and Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs), including performing work at height, in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
4. Conduct pre-work site assessments, identify hazards, and implement appropriate risk control measures, adhering to height safety requirements, harness and rope use, traffic management, and pest control procedures, where applicable.
5. Maintain equipment and complete required documentation, including routine equipment checks, safety records, and incident reports, while ensuring all work meets quality standards and client specifications.
6. Carry out other duties related to the business as required by the employer, in line with the employee’s skills and qualifications.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in industrial, construction, building maintenance, or safety-focused work environments, including experience involving work at height, equipment operation, and strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Good level of physical fitness, able to work at height and in confined spaces, with current and valid certifications in Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms (EWP), and Confined Space.
• Experience using water blasters and steam cleaners is an advantage.
• Ability to read and communicate in English, and hold a current driver licence, as travel between sites with equipment may be required.
• Must be available at most weekends.
• No allergies to dairy, nuts or dust.
• No criminal convictions. Durg tests are required.
