Remuneration: $24.00 – $35.00 per hour (depending on skills, qualifications, and experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join our growing team. This role is also open for a newly qualified graduate in Architectural Technology or Architecture who is eager to work on our projects.
You will work closely with senior team members and consultants to transform design concepts into detailed technical drawings and consent-ready documentation. Key Responsibilities

Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Assist in developing plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.

Support the preparation of documentation for building consent applications.

Ensure drawings comply with the New Zealand Building Code and local council requirements.

Revise and update drawings based on feedback from senior staff, consultants, and clients.

Liaise with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.

Assist with site measurements and project documentation where necessary.

Maintain organised and accurate project records.
Who We Are Looking For

Recent graduates with a qualification in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related field (NZQF Level 5 or higher);
OR -
Candidates with up to 2 years of relevant drafting or architectural experience.
Skills and Attributes
