Compliance Manager – Auto Glass
We are a Novus Glass franchise, dealing with the repair and installation of windscreens,
headlights and any glass work for vehicles. This role is responsible for the office and the
operational side of the workshop.
The role is based in our Tauranga branch and is a permanent full-time position. Hours are
Monday to Friday 30 to 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for both customer
service and staff needs.
The role involves:-
- Plan and review service standards on a regular basis. Address customer complaints,
internal issues and take effective actions.
- Ensure all the equipment are in place to perform the job and address critical
development & needs.
- Scheduling workflow in terms of their deadline and performance.
- Allocate job to staff and mechanics and ensure materials are in order to get the job
done.
- Review Compliance process and other services provided by the staff and provide
feedback on their performance.
- Liaison with staff, suppliers and clients to ensure the smooth operation of the
business.
- Follow and keep up to date with franchise policies/procedures.
- Development and general marketing with local dealerships and panel beaters to offer
our services at competitive rates.
- Relevant knowledge and understanding of an auto glazier.
- Keeping all stock up to date in the work shop.
The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of
the company.
The successful candidate should have:-
- 12 months of relevant experience
- Thorough knowledge of automotive body glass and any related parts, pieces etc
- Knowledge of internal vehicle computers and their recalibration in relation to safety
and compliance after new glass is installed
- Proven history of working closely on a daily basis with external suppliers and
consumers, including marketing and development of all new relationships on both
sides
- Knowledge of compliance policies and procedures through NZTA, AA, VTNZ, and
VINZ.
- A relevant qualification could be of an advantage.
You will also:
- Have excellent proven communication skills with a wide variety of people
- Be able to problem solve and think on your feet
- Have the ability to manage long term jobs and "see" any issues before they happen
- Be comfortable juggling multiple jobs and responsibilities at one time
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
- A full New Zealand Drivers License.
