Printing Machinist Role will be working closely with the fabrication team to help reduce costs and reduce waste of both materials and time.

It is the responsibility of every employee to work together as a team to ensure the business always performs as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Machine Setup: Setting up and preparing printing machines (digital, offset) according to job specifications. This can be with PVC, Banner Fabrics, Printable Vinyl.
  • Production & Quality Control: Operating the printer, monitoring for quality, and collecting samples during a run to prevent errors.
  • Maintenance: Cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs to printer equipment.
  • Ink & Materials: Mixing inks, solvents, and loading pvc or materials into machines. 

Skills and Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of printing techniques and machinery.  Strong understanding of operating software.  Technical ablitly in understanding complex dimensional drawings.
  • Attention to Detail: High precision to detect errors in text, colour, and images.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a, at times, noisy, fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications: Often requires technical training or a certificate in printing/graphic
