The Company:
Our Silverdale based client is a Kiwi-owned and operated and for over 20 years, they have been recognised as a reputable supplier of exterior building products in NZ. They support both commercial and residential projects and are a trusted partner to many builders and architects across New Zealand and Australia.

The Opportunity:
On their behalf we are seeking a mature, experienced and dependable Warehouse Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis.

 Hours: Approximately 24 hours a week.  Preferred hours would be 9am- 5pm- Tues, Weds, Thurs. However, 4 shorter days could be considered.

 The company is really busy so these hours will likely grow over time.


The Role:

  • Accurately picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders

  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock

  • Conducting rolling stock takes

  • Loading and unloading deliveries, using forklift

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment

  • Supporting general warehouse operations as required

  • Always operating within the company’s Health & Safety procedures


Skills and Experience:

  • Can confidently use a Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts

  • Solid general warehouse operational skills

  • A stable work history

  • A mature common-sense approach with good communication skills

  • Physically fit and able to lift and move stock

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Enjoys a busy environment

  • Forklift license (Ideally both Reach and counterbalance)
