We are a wellestablished, 70 year old company and a market leader in marine and protective coatings. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated, selfmanaged Technical Sales Representative to cover the South Island. This role is ideally suited to a person with technical or applicator experience who understands site conditions, specifications, and contractors. You’ll manage your own territory while working within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an established South Island customer base
  • Develop new business within the commercial marine sector
  • Provide practical, technical advice on marine and protective coating systems
  • Plan and manage your own travel and sales activity
  • Build strong, longterm customer relationships
  • Maintain sales reports, pipeline, and forecasts

About You:

  • Highly selfmotivated and selfmanaged
  • Sound understanding of marine or industrial coatings
  • Confident communicator who relates well to contractors and decisionmakers
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
  • Willing to travel throughout the South Island and the North Island when required
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Preferred location: Nelsonbased
