About the Role
L & P BEAUTY LIMITED is seeking a skilled and passionate Nail and Lash Technician to join our friendly and professional team in Taupō. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality beauty services.

Key Responsibilities

•            Performing consultations and suggesting nail and eyelash services to clients

•            Prepare and maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised workstation

•            Clean, trim, shape, and buff clients’ fingernails and toenails

•            Remove existing nail products and prepare natural nails for new applications

•            Perform professional manicure and pedicure services, such as gel polish, SNS dipping, acrylic enhancements, and nail art

•            Apply and infill various types of artificial nails, ensuring high-quality finish and durability

•            Perform professional eyelash extension services, such as classic, hybrid, and volume sets

•            Provide relaxing hand and foot massage treatments as part of nail services

•            Evaluate the condition of clients’ nails and natural lashes and provide appropriate aftercare advice

•            Recommend suitable beauty products and additional treatments to clients

•            Maintain accurate client service records where required

•            Clean, disinfect, and sterilise tools and equipment between each client

•            Assist with ordering supplies when needed

•            Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business

•            Comply with all workplace health, safety, and hygiene requirements

•            Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the employer

 

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Nail Technician and/or Lash Technician
  • No formal qualification required
  • Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Be available to work rostered hours including weekends as required by business needs
  • No criminal record
  • Candidates need to be NZ citizens/residents
