Cleaning & Washing Equipment Operator

Clean on Thyme trading as Mountain View Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning and Washing Equipment Operator (Power Wash Technician) to join our team. This role specialises in exterior cleaning, property maintenance, restoration, and surface treatment services across residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform exterior cleaning using high-pressure power washing and soft washing techniques

• Operate cleaning and washing equipment safely and effectively

• Use Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) where required 

• Carry out property maintenance and restoration treatments across a variety of surfaces

• Follow all health and safety procedures, particularly when working at heights

• Ensure safe setup and management of worksites, including traffic management where required

• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with operational standards

Skills and Experience Required:

• NZQCF Level 4 qualification, or

• At least three years of relevant work experience (may substitute for the formal qualification)

• Experience operating power washing and soft washing equipment

• Competency working at heights

• Height safety training, including harness and rope training preferred

• Traffic management and pest control certifications advantageous but we will provide training to the right applicant

• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

• Physically fit and capable of manual work

Remuneration:

Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
